Value-Centered Learning Michael's Institute of Management and Technology is a Self Financing Arts and Science College affiliated to the University of Kerala,
founded and owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alleppey.
Started as a Learner Support Centre(MIMAT) of the flagship educational institution of the Diocese of Alleppey, St. Michael's College, the institution obtained the affiliation of the University of Kerala as a Self Financing College. It commenced functioning in June 2015 with two undergraduate courses -BCom with Finance as Elective and BCA. Under the able leadership of Rev. Fr. Solomon Charanghat, the first Manager and Prof.A V John Joseph the first Principal, and Rev. Fr. Celestine Puthenpurackal, the Asst. Manager, the college developed into a notable center of higher education imparting value-centered, quality-oriented training to the students coming to its fold. In 2017 Rev. Fr. Sony Xavier Panackal was appointed the Manager and the construction of the new building was effectualized during his tenure.
